Privacy policy
Last updated 11 October 2026
This policy explains what personal information Next Generation Products Pty Ltd ("we", "us") collects through the Urban Outdoor website, what we do with it, and how to contact us about it. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
Who we are
Urban Outdoor is a range of fibre clay pots from Next Generation Products Pty Ltd, a South Australian wholesaler. Our office is at Unit 5, 38-46 Barndioota Road, Salisbury Plain SA 5109. You can call us on 08 8280 5986 or email hello@nextgenerationproducts.com.au.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry
The enquiry form asks for your name, email address and message. You can also give us your phone number and your suburb or postcode. Depending on what you're asking about, the form also records:
- the pot, colour and garden centre you picked
- your business name, if you're asking about stocking Urban Outdoor
- the page you sent the form from
We also record whether the form passed an automatic spam check.
When you use the website
We use Google Analytics, through Google Tag Manager, to see how the website is used. It records things like the pages you visit, how you found the site, the type of device and browser you're using, and your approximate location (to the city or region). It uses cookies to do this. We use it to improve the website, not to identify you.
The enquiry form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a person, not a program, is sending it. Cloudflare looks at technical information about your browser to make that check.
The suburb or postcode you type into the Where to buy search is matched to garden centres in your own browser. It's added to the page address so the results can be bookmarked or shared, and like any page address it can show up in our analytics.
We don't sell anything through this website, so we never collect payment details, and there are no user accounts.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry, by email or phone.
- To help you find a pot. If you've asked about a pot at a particular garden centre, we may pass your name, contact details and enquiry to that garden centre so they can help you.
- To talk to you about becoming a stockist, if that's what you've asked about.
- To understand how the website is used and make it better.
- To keep records of the enquiries we receive.
We won't send you marketing emails unless you've asked us to, and we never sell your information.
Who we share it with
Apart from a garden centre you've asked about, we share personal information only with the services that run the website:
- Cloudflare hosts the website, stores enquiries in a database and runs the spam check.
- Resend delivers each enquiry to our inbox by email.
- Google provides Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
These providers may store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
Cookies
Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser so it can tell a new visit from a returning one. The website works without them. You can block or delete cookies in your browser's settings, or install Google's Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and to keep our business records, then delete them. Google Analytics keeps analytics data for the period set in our account.
Keeping it secure
The website is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and enquiries are stored in a database that only our team can access. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold.
Seeing or correcting your information
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it. Email hello@nextgenerationproducts.com.au and we'll reply within 30 days.
Complaints
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please contact us first so we can try to fix it. If you're not satisfied with our response within 30 days, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at www.oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.
Changes to this policy
We'll update this page if the way we handle personal information changes. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
