About Urban Outdoor
Urban Outdoor is a range of fibre clay pots, troughs and garden accessories from Next Generation Products, a South Australian wholesaler. We've been supplying garden centres across the state since 2018.
We don't sell direct. Our pots are sold through independent garden centres and nurseries, from Port Pirie and Kadina down to McLaren Vale, and out to Mount Barker and Waikerie.

Who's behind Urban Outdoor
Urban Outdoor belongs to Next Generation Products Pty Ltd, based in Salisbury Plain in Adelaide's northern suburbs. Adam Heyne started the business and still runs it.
Adam comes from a family with deep roots in South Australian gardening. The Heyne family's history here goes back to the early days of the colony, and Heyne's Nursery is one of the oldest nurseries in the state. It mostly grows for other nurseries, and also runs its own garden centre at Beulah Park.
Adam branched out from plants into the other things a garden needs. Next Generation Products now supplies synthetic turf through its Next Generation Turf brand, lawn and landscaping products, and, since 2018, the Urban Outdoor range of pots. All of it is sold the same way: we supply the product, and local stockists sell it.
What we make
Our pots are made from fibre clay with a terrazzo-style finish, which gives them the look of stone. They're made for indoor and outdoor use.
Most designs come as a nesting set of three, four or five sizes. Grouped together, one set fills a front entry, a courtyard corner or the end of a balcony. The Aspen also comes in XL and XXL for a single statement pot.
Each design comes in a handful of colours. Blizzard, Onyx, Granite, Charcoal, Sage, Biscotti, Sand, Arctic and Nougat are all in the current range, though not every design comes in every colour.

How buying works
Every product page shows which garden centres carry that pot in your chosen colour. Pick a stockist and send us an enquiry from the product page. Our team checks stock with that garden centre, and then either we or the garden centre will get back to you.
If there's no stockist near you, send us an enquiry anyway and we'll work out the easiest option for you.
Our warranty
Every Urban Outdoor fibre clay pot is covered for 12 months from the date you bought it. If a defect shows up in that time, we'll repair or replace the pot, or refund the garden centre you bought it from. You also have the guarantees that come with the Australian Consumer Law.
Each pot has a batch number on the bottom. Keep your receipt and note the batch number if you ever need to make a claim.
To keep your pot looking good:
- Seal it with a pot and ornamental sealer to protect it from spills and stains.
- Sit it on pot feet so air can move underneath and water doesn't pool around the base.
- Clean it with mild products only. Harsh chemicals can damage the finish.
